#1 TIPS - Going for a KPOP FANMEET

Although I've been to a few fan meets , but i've learn a lot from it ㅋㅋ


1 : DRESS UP NICELY

I know you guys will be like " No point dressing so nicely because my idol won't notice me "

For fanmeet, there would be game sections whereby they pick fans to go up the stage to play games.

WEAR SOMETHING THAT CATCHES THEIR ATTENTION !
 You don't have to dress so sexy and show your stuff ( ahem ) to get their attention.
Alternative ways is to wear clothing with funny quotes or something that your idols likes.

You can also print like funny derp faces on your shirt to catch your idol's attention. But if do not want all these, its fine. You can wear something BRIGHT as in NEON or something that GLOWS IN THE DARK. If you are the only one who is glowing, it would most probably catch their attention ;)

Usually Kpop fanmeets are seated so you can rock on your heels if you want to ㅋㅋ
Dress presentably because you don't want your idols to have a bad impression of you right?

2 : FAN BOARDS

Whether your fan boards are in LED or hand made, just bring it along ( but it depends on the whether they allow ) You may catch your idols attention by just holding a fan board !

Who knows your idol might Stop & Stare at your boards ;) You can add cut out picture of your idols and paste it on your board  to make it more interesting or add some funny puns or quotes ^^

If lets say they do not allow these types of LED or large fan boards, Alternative ways are to buy banners as they can be folded or headbands if they allow.

But be mindful as the person behind you might get blocked by your headband hahaha You can find this selling in ' Carousell '

3. GIFTS AND LETTERS

Some fan meets, they allow fans to give idols gifts or letters.

Some will have boxes at the side for you to drop your gifts or letters in !

Do not buy expensive gifts like branded watches , keyboards etc. because it depends on the company, if they see if its too expensive, they would reject it. So you can consider purchasing like t-shirts , wallets or accessories. Or even better, a HANDMADE gift ! 

Ideas for handmade gifts : Flower wrath, scrapbooks, etc.

When writing a Fan letter, avoid rude words because you don't want your idols reading this and having a bad impression right? Unless your idols can understand English, try writing it in Korean :) Google translate it or what so ever just make sure its understandable :) 

4. MIND YOUR MANNERS

Respect other fans and most importantly RESPECT your idols. Usually fan meets have either hi-touch or fan sign. 

Don't cut queues and wait patiently for your turn because your idols won't run away. Avoid saying rude or inappropriate things because your idols will be like :

HAHAHAHA

But seriously, don't do that because they'll have a bad impressions on you.

Also, during a hi-touch, don't get all touchy and touch other places other than the hands, like the face or something because ITS SO NOT COOL.

I mean i know is tempting but its rude.

Don't grab their hands too tightly and not let go because it gets really awkward for them hahaha
